An effective way to support children with SM at school is to help them set reasonable goals and reward systems. These sheets, created by child psychologists who specialize in SM, are designed to help you provide this support.
What's included?
My Brave Talking Chart for School: A points-system chart to track their brave talking progress (one version with recommended goals, and one blank version for you to fill out).
My Goals At School: Set small, medium and big goals for your student to work towards. Not all goals have to involve speaking - the idea is to give them ample ways to practice and hence grow their bravery. Offer a sticker or happy face for each goal reached!
My Bravery Ladder: Break down one big goal into small, achievable milestones to keep your student motivated and boost their belief in themselves. Challenges that feel huge and scary become more manageable if we offer positive reinforcement along the journey - not just at the finish line!
