Teacher Training: Selective Mutism & Social Anxiety

US$750.00

Clinical psychologist Dr. Melissa Giglio and Assistant Psychologist Daisy Geddes specialize in the therapy and treatment of Selective Mutism (SM).

This 2-day in-person teacher training in Hong Kong aims to broaden your understanding of SM diagnoses in children, and the typical characteristics exhibited in school and classroom settings.

In this non-clinical skill-building session, you will learn practical, evidence-based techniques for teachers to provide the best support to students presenting with symptoms of SM in the classroom.

Taking skills into the real world can be challenging, so we offer participants access to 3 follow-up calls where you’ll get to raise any challenges you encounter as you implement the tools and techniques you’ve learnt.

What’s included:

  • 2 in-person training sessions (3 hours each)

  • Access to 3 group follow-up calls to track and troubleshoot the implementation of the skills you’ve learnt

  • A copy of Bravery Grows
